SWCG Volunteering
A very small number of us have taken on a big project to develop this area of land into something for the community and we need your help. Most of us are new to this and are learning as we go. We are at the gardens most Saturdays preparing the ground and planning the different areas of the garden. Please come and join us for a couple of hours to either offer some help/advice or to just say hello.
Recent work:
- Moving heavy sleepers and building additional raised beds
- Designing and planting of sensory garden using plants that were donated last week
- Clearing brambles at the garden entrance
- Marking out area for Polytunnel
- Deepening drainage trench
