Ilkeston and Heanor Networking Event
After the difficulties of COVID-19, SEAG would like to get everyone together to share ideas about the future of our local area and how we can support each other to move forward, all over a cup of tea and some biscuits!
Our main goal is to start to put together a shared calendar of all the events being organised in the Ilkeston and Heanor areas so that we can coordinate and support one another.
We also want to begin to float the idea of starting a Transition Town. Don’t worry if you don’t know what that is yet, we will be giving talks on the day and have displays explaining what this is and what it may look like and how people can get involved if they are interested.
The afternoon will be very informal – drop in when you like, grab a beverage, come with an open mind and have a chat about how we can collaborate and visions for the areas. We are excited for the future of our community and what ideas we can all bring to the table.
