Local Heritage Day
Come and join us at the Community Garden to learn about the history of the local area. Hear from speakers from The Ilkeston and District Local History Society about the local railway, The Elka Project Ilkeston about recently discovered local archaeology and The Friends of Bennerley Viaduct. Plus find out who Sir John Borlase Warren was and finally, discover the mysteries of the Monks Causeway.
We will confirm times for the talks nearer the time.
Refreshments and cakes available. Please bring a reusable cup/mug!

How to find us:
We are in between Pit Lane and Long Lane (MFN), look out for our signs! If travelling by car, there is parking along the road and nearby. There is also a bus stop right outside the entrance to the Garden and Bicycle stand on site.
